Help to identify this newly-found golden citrine bottle

This neat old bottle was recently found underneath an old house. The bright color of the glass is just incredible; it's a vibrant, golden citrine color and has an unusual maltese cross mark on the pontil. It measures 9 1/4 inches tall and has lots of swirls and bubbles. The mold lines do not reach all the way to the top; they stop about 3/4 of an inch below. I assume it would've had a label. I've searched for another example with no luck. Any ideas?

There was another thread about a bottle with a maltese cross a few years back:

Don't know if there's any connection to your nice yellow bottle though.

Thank you sunrunner and GLASSHOPPER55. I followed the link and there is some very interesting information there. From what I can gather the maltese cross mark was a type of "signature" left by certain mold makers in the St. Louis area around the turn of the century.
