This jar is listed in the Red Book as #1641, The maker could have been any number of glass producers around the turn of the century (1900's or so). Listed at 6-8 for value. Checked the Fruit Jar Works also for maker and again none specified.
Coreya thank you so much for your help. I had another friend say she thought only Canadian firms made this shape but I can't find evidence of that. I think it is a darling little jar. I have always loved the old blue mason jars, make me think of my grandma. I am such a novice, what is the red book?
The Red Book is one of the best general references for fruit jars and their variations and gives general info and prices on them. can be ordered from the writer Douglas Leybourne direct. https://redbookjars.com/ In my opinion a must have for the fruit jar collector.
