    Found this bottle at a hunting camp. Its 12 sided. Any idea what it is and the age? Thanks

    Welcome to the forum! With that Consumer's Glass logo on it it predates 1961, but yeah still just a ketchup bottle pretty much like the ones you can still buy at the supermarket. There are a lot of those things out in the woods.

    I've found Ketchup Slicks similiar to that in old early 1900 privies & throw them back in the hole. LEON.

    Careful, even if it is "only" a ketchup bottle, it could still infect you (with the bottle hunting/collecting bug).

    Where I live all the ketchup bottles are plastic. Products in glass are going by the wayside any more. Still see pickles in glass tho.

    Come to think of it I'm not sure if they still sell glass ketchup bottles here either. Can't remember seeing them for the last few years. I don't know if I've even seen glass ketchup bottles in a diner recently. It's a shame, glass is so much better for the environment. They had the right idea 100 years ago with refillable soda bottles, hard to imagine that being re-implemented now. Though with the increasing backlash against single use plastics, I suppose it's possible.
