I found this bottle near a dock when swimming the other day . it was semi hidden in some sand , obviously been there for some time .

it would appear to be a " Clark Bros - Toronto " hutch bottle , 1880-1900 era .

I don't really collect Toronto hutch bottles so not that familiar with it , really don't find a lot of hutch bottles when swimming , this might be the second or third one I've found in total here . although I guess there could be more out there waiting to be found

As long as you're not searching with your feet, lol. Nice find.

went back to the same spot but did not find anything else except for a no deposit diet pepsi bottle , no sign of anything else ,

swim conditions weren't ideal but didn't appear to be anything else there , at least not that I could easily find

I have found similar OLD chards in the most unlikely places also...Makes you scratch your head sometimes. I have found whole unbroken hutches just on the surface too. That really is surprising.
