Hi ya'll. Would one of you fine people answer a couple of questions for me? What was the time frame California Fig Syrup Co. bottles were made? Mine says California Fig Syrup Co. Califig Sterling Products (Inc) Successor. Also, what makes them worthless (so to speak) Was it the amount manufactured? Thanks, Richard​

They were made for quite a while. I've seen ones which looked like they dated to the 1880s and ones which could have been as recent as the 1930s. Yours is one of the later ones I think. An yes it's the number manufactured that makes them worthless, it's one of the most common med bottles from that era.

I recall reading on the 'net interesting litigation about this Fig Syrup (which upon analysis contained no fig component).
