Hi Guys,
I just bought a four acre property with a brook in Massachusetts. My father and I have been doing some detecting and general digging. So far, we have found 2 bottles, one from the brook, and the other (pictured), Dad dug in the woods. That's the one I'm seeking any info on in this post. It has a "3" on bottom. Light bluish glass, more pronounced at the base. The seams look like they continue all the way through the lip, however, there looks like a horizontal seam (not straight) above the base. The bottle measures 9.75" L x 4.25" W x 2.5" D.
Brand new to this and loving it! PS Not sure why this images are posting every way except the right way. Any info greatly appreciated. I will post the othe one soon.
Thank you! IMG_1022.jpgIMG_1024.jpgIMG_1027.jpg

Thanks, Bottlebuddy. Found a broken stoneware jug today, along with some glass. I hope I am near the dump site of the property. There is an old cart path that runs through the land alongside of which I've been finding some broken artifacts.
