Have read Posts here but it only occurred to me today (duh!) that I could post a few images and maybe learn something about the bottles we came upon. Should we keep 'em? Sell 'em? Be glad we have 'em? Simply put, we don't know much about bottles.

Albert Van Harten Savannah, Blue-green (cyan?)
Henry Kuck 1878 Savannah, Teal
J. Cosgrove, Charleston Cobalt Blue

Thanks, Mister Ed
“We were children of the 1950s and John Kennedy's young stalwarts of the early 1960s. He told the world that Americans would "pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship" in the defense of freedom. We were the down payment on that costly contract, but the man who signed it was not there when we fulfilled his promise. John Kennedy waited for us on a hill in Arlington National Cemetery, and in time we came by the thousands to fill those slopes with our white marble markers and to ask on the murmur of the wind if that was truly the future he had envisioned for us.”

Thanks. We have a handle on cast iron skillets and such, but figuring out bottles has left us glassy-eyed.

These are all fairly common. At least one of these is for sale on eBay usually all the time. Your color descriptions are off a little. There is no "teal" colored bottle here, and the blue bottle is not cobalt blue, it's just blue. The other bottles are variations of "blue-green". 1870-80's With the condition issues the values drop considerably in to the $10-20 range. The Kuck looks to be in good shape - maybe $40-50 at the high end. The Savannah suffers with that open bubble on the front. $20-30 at the high end.

Thats $100 on the high end from what American sez. I'd happily give you $100 for all 3 of those. Nice finds. LEON.

I'm with Leon in this camp. Those would look great on any shelf and would make many collectors drool to have them.

The value of Vintage and Antique items is based in subjectivity so we appreciate the opinions of everyone. Since acquiring the bottles some years ago we have been drawn to cast iron and have little room for glass (alas). Additionally, learning about bottles is much more difficult, or so it seems. Cleaning and restoring cast iron is a craft whereas bottles seem to require a more artistic touch; my aging fingers and basic clumsiness are better suited to lye, electrolyisis and elbow grease.

Perhaps we can establish a reasonable value for the glass and pass them on to someone who will appreciate their story. Your assistance (all y'all) is already proving to be useful.

Well, if you're an established seller on ebay, a laissez faire approach through an auction there should show what people think them to be worth assuming that the title, description, and images hit all the points to let people find them. The market will drive itself.
