    found B and B bottle

    HEllo all!

its been a while I know, all my sites have grown over til spring lol!

while out metal detecting a field today, we came across a home dump site and Found this big 30 oz bottle there, that I had never heard of, even though its from my city (before my time lol!) . I believe I read here it is from 1926 - 1946, please correct me if im wrong.
Hopefully more to show soon! (got an ink bottle too, but wrong section haha).

I don't know much about these bottles but it is a great find. Especially if that is your hometown. And yes, the good spots are grown over for now but keep in mind that will change in just a few months!

B & B was a bottler from Hamilton , full name was " Best and Bennett " , book lists them as operating from the 20's till 46 as you mentioned .

I have one of there 7 oz bottles , not sure I've seen the 30 oz before but feel I might of . due to space I don't really collect 30 oz bottles so not something I look for .

its a good find for your area , to come across an older local bottle
