My wife and myself did a little road trip to Montreal stopping in various small shops along the way. We stopped in Smith Falls at a junk shop and found this whiskey jug from Montgomery Alabama.
I did not buy it at the time and went on to Montreal did our little trip and a little research on the jug and four days later back home I called and bought it over the phone. Apparently this form is quite unusual according to Alabama stoneware. If anyone can shed some more light on this jug it would be appreciated. This picture is a screenshot from alabamastoneware.com with thanks.

Cool! I don't know anything about it, but that's certainly not a common style of liquor jug for anywhere in North America.
