A friend of mine aquired this, lucky guy!!!...wish it was me!
Anyways I've known for some time that Canada had paper label 7up's but never seen one, untill now! Forgive the quality of the photos, it's all I have to work with as my friend can't take photo's to save his life..lol. Fortunatly I have these, best I can offer is the ones from the original seller, but I can't up size them as they were from messages via phone.
The label is from Dominion Bottling Works Ltd., Edmonton - Saskatoon. Note the bottle has no neck embossing, the base is marked with the Dominion glass logo.
I believe the label to be from the 1933-1938 period. As Vancouver was also bottling 7up in 1933 pre ACL bottles...contrary to what Wikipedia says that it was sold as 7up beginning in 1936, that is untrue as evident in the photo's from Thorpes and Co's fleet of 7up delivery truck from 1933!
