I found this sods bottle at an antique store a few years ago, and cannot find anything like it on the internet. It's Aqua in color and has an odd lip, the glass appears to be rolled over. The base has a mold line suggesting a two-piece hinge mold. The glass is very thick and the overall appearance is very rough. No embossing at all. I'm thinking around the 1870's or so as it has no pontil mark.

Does anyone have any information on this bottle: Date, Origin, rarity or value.

Much Thanks,

Greg in Bakersfield CA

That's an odd one alright. I expect that it isn't American. Not sure where it would be from though, never seen anything like that from any other country either.
