The ground took care of it well. Sometimes the damage comes when trying to clean them off.

So is it true that you should let them dry a month before trying to clean them?

Hemi, you lucked out. I've dug many an ACL just to have the paint shrivel as soon as the 2019 air hits 'em. Especially milks.

these labels are funny , its still possible to occasionally dig or find a nice one , even if most others in the same dump are badly damaged
I've found a few hires root beer bottles when swimming but none would of had a nice label on them , also found a few hires root beer cans metal and aluminum which are in the garage , don't think its sold here anymore ( they sell a root beer called " Mugs " which I don't really like at all and haven't bought in along time ,
also is an alcoholic hires root beer with vodka can I occasionally find here
