Hello! Completely new to the forum, so if I make a mistake in my post, let me know and I'll fix it ASAP!
I just found this bottle while metal detecting last Saturday (it was in the ground with some can chunks). Pretty neat bottle imo, and so far I have determined it was a distilled alcohol bottle made in 1940. However, is there a way to trace back to who the "d-2" registered distillery was? Possibly what kind of alcohol it would have been?
I would like to make up a new label and glue it to the front, make it look like it would have before it was discarded.
Thanks for looking and your help!
