Time period on this bitters bottle?

I believe that's a reproduction from the 1970s, I'm afraid. Wheaton put these out in different colours.

Yeah, after a search it looks to be common, also that Wheaton made a lot of repo glass, not sure if these bitters bottles are repo or not, from what I read, the repo's have "Wheaton Village" on the bottom, this bottle just has Wheaton.

I've never heard of Wheaton Village, the Wheaton bottles that I've seen have only been embossed with Wheaton. It's definitely a repro I'm afraid, they made loads of them back when bottle collecting first took off.

No worries, I didn't buy it, I've never researched bitters bottles, so I'm glad I asked, thanks for the info....;)
