I've been collecting for many years and have found several Buchanan's before - 26 oz. and flasks. But have never seen a 40 oz. before.
Nice olive green - lots of inclusions in the glass - 3 piece mold - applied top - embossed at shoulder with "Buchanan's Black & White Whisky" - "175" stamped on the bottom.
Is this a rare bottle - or just rare where I've been digging ???
Thanks guys... and Cheers,
~ Boh

I don't remember coming across many of any size of Buchanan's bottle before, apart from some later ABM ones. I doubt it'll be that rare considering how big the company was, but since BC has some of the highest concentrations of British liquor bottles outside of the UK itself you're probably in a better place than most to judge how many are out there. Unfortunately I don't see many people showing interest in these UK whisky bottles in general.
