Here's the day's digs for a superb day of weather! I dug until I couldn't see inside of the hole. Not so bad today, finds started out slow but the pit is shaping up to be a massive producer of some fine glass. I finally hit a sweet vein that is still going, here's some of the stuff that came from it. Digging the vein anymore is too dangerous as there's about 10ft of dirt above me and I don't have a 15 foot scratcher as I was about 10 ft into that vein hehe. I know more is there waiting to be found, guess where I'll be tomorrow

Another slacker missed the group photo! Sharp & Dohme!? Never seen this one before... Tiny chip on the lip, ah well [8D]

Early 1900's BIMAL, contained "ERGOTOLE", a purified liquid preparation of selected Ergot of Rye

Ergot (fungus) also caused hallucinations when it infected bread and eaten in earlier times, Werewolves!

Almost done:

Embossed "Palmer". Really cool green, I think these are common but the coolness factor stays!

And finally, a really sweet crude kickup!

Funny and kinda sad story to this one. I had it wrapped up fine in my bag and didn't see any damage when I dug it. I get it home and start soaking the inside. Went back to my car for something and came back in water all over the floor, it sprung a leak! Looks like theres a small hole, in the thinnest part of the bottle *grimmace, but what the heck, it really displays fine, it's quite old! I don't think it is US made?

Enjoy!

Very nice digs. LSD was invented as a synthetic derivative of Ergot. Good luck out there.[;)]

Hey SS, Really nice finds. Ergotole was a blood purifier. Supposed to clean toxins from the blood. Ergot of Rye is where LSD originally came from.

I guess if it didn't kill you, eventually you would feel great.[&:]
