There's not only marine life to keep me interested in scuba diving in Eastport but also some nice historical bottles and clay pipes if you know where and how to look. Here are a couple of the latest finds.

Both bottles were found in about 40 feet of water near an old pier. They were both in beautiful condition as you can see.

I found plenty of info on the green Luke Beard bottle but not too much on the James Ready.

Nice pair of bottles. I like the round bottom of the first and the color of the second. Is there a "sea glass" look to them or did they clean up as good as they look?

Oh yeah, a couple other things. Welcome and is the bottm of the ocean REALLY like the surface of the moon?

They cleaned up very nicely.

They each had a quick dip in vinegar and water to get off a bit of marine encrustation off otherwise just a rinse in fresh water. They were mostly buried in the mud/sand and pretty well protected from wera and tear.
