The Demijohn Page is newly revised with new bottles and new pics of many of the original bottles. The website contains an etymology of the terms " demijohn" and " carboy" plus links to web-pages with many other sorts of bottles. Only glass demijohns are treated here, no stoneware.

Harry, it's nice to see a web page in the bottle disipline that actually stays current! Before I hit on the forum, I was using google etc. to find 'old bottles'. Why is it I wonder that there are so many sites out there that haven't been touched in months if not years?! Even the geru of diggers, Digger O'Dell, sites have information that are in some cases 1-2 years old. The Demijohn page looks great, the photos are stunning.

Thank you for the feedback, guys!

I have had a lot of fun putting those pages together, but the payoff is knowing that visitors find it interesting or useful.
