Found these today at a farm dump. Not sure of the material, looks like some sort of clay.

These are half dollar sized, and though it's not a clear pic, you can see the layers. The outside is a tight bond, what looks like fired clay, and a rusty brownish color. The inside layer is a bone color, and porus. Not really sure what they're made of, but they look old. They appear to be melted, but they're not, just misshapen. Any clues?
