Hello. I am posting a photo of a Congress Spring Co. bottle.
It may be tough to see the nice emerald green color in the pic. this bottle has very textured glass .Very rippley and wavy. The seams stop at the applied lip.
It has no embossing other than on the flat bottom which has Congress Spring Co, S.S.N.Y.,which I think is Saratoga Springs N.Y.. It also has what apperars to be a small straight line in the middle of a very vague circle located in the center of the base. This bottle is in very nice shape, almost flawless barring a small light scratch on the side. Not bad for a bottle buried in the ground for 100 years or so.
Is anyone familiar with this bottle and /or company? Iam curious about it.
Thanks a lot.
