rimmels cherry toothpaste

Im looking for information on this pot lid it was found on a pre 1906 site in Dunedin New Zealand It is the first potlid ive found in 15 years of colecting

the night before I found it I told my mate who collects potlids why the heck do you collect those

I guess i was wrong im now hooked

Hi Moa.
See if you can get your hands on a digital camera, take a photo & upload it.
Im guessing that its an English potlid, the name Rimmel rings a bell.
Another poster on this site by the name of Gidday (I think) knows a lot about lids.
If he reads this im sure he'll add some useful info.[:)]

They are an English lid, that is a nice looking lid too [;)] . Rimmels used a few very colourfull pot lids, another very nice lid from that company has coral printed all over it, I think that one's a toothpaste too.

Rimmels made a variety of compouds from toothpaste to shaving soap. One of the more interesting designs by this company.
