Here is a very pretty colored square bottle in geat shape. It has very fine seams that stop at the lip.It has a indented base embossed with very samll letters, clc co.
Is this a common bottle ?
Regards, Ed
That's a nice bottle, Ed. Not all that common, either. The mark on the base often looks like CLC, but it is actually CLG Co., which was the Carr-Lowrey Glass Company of Baltimore, Maryland. They made a lot of beautifully-colored bottles, mainly for druggists, chemists and perfumers. The poison and druggist bottles that I collect were made by them. I have not seen one exactly like yours before, but they had numerous styles of unembossed medicine-type bottles. ~Jim
