I came across this very interesting variant Coke bottle, and was looking to potentially learn more about it.
Its from Panama Republic. The Coca-Cola logo is slightly slanted and the glass has a green citron color.
ABM bottle so I'm assuming is from 1912-16. Mold mark on the bottom is a faint #1 and there is a triangle above it.
Most intriguing is that its in a 10 oz format, and extremely heavy for the size. Super thick glass.

I have a Panama Canal Zone bottle but its nothing like this one.

The Porter book does not have it listed.

Any info I can get on this would be great.
You guys have always been extremely helpful on this forum.
Knowing more about these bottles is half the fun in collecting.

It's a neat bottle and I agree with your timeline, though I suspect it could be as late as 1920. Regardless, it is pretty tough to assess the rarity of these foreign bottles...a lot of digging was done in Panama back in the 1970's but it focused on the canal construction dumps. Nonetheless, a neat bottle for sure.

I know there is one more Panama R.P. in the standard shoulder script as well. I always find these odd ball variants very interesting. The only other 10 oz straight Coke I know of is the amber Rochester NY bottle

As for international bottle I believe there are only 4 countries that had straight side coke bottling plants. Canada, Cuba, Panama, and Argentina.

These are just some quick poor quality pics I snapped for reference. I'll need to take some proper down the line.
