My dad's friend's grandfather had a box of bottles in an attic on his farm and when he died my dads friend kept the box. My dad's friend decided to give them to me in a trade for a milk bottle I had found from her grandfather's farm. This bottle was in the box and is very early circa 1860s probably. It has a label that says it was a bluing put up by the Empire Bottling Works of Norwich, CT. I have yet to find any information on this company and bottle. If anyone can tell me more please do. This is a beautiful find!

Agree with previous posters. That’s a classic English bottle with a newer label. Still very cool to get a local label.
