I've had this bottle for a few years. But I wanted to share it because it has a very unique design, like a book. On the front it is embossed with "Em Lawrence / VICE PRES. / ANCHOR HOCKING CORP. / [anchor over H symbol] / 43 YEARS / FEB. 6, 1930 / JUNE 30, 1973 / EXCELCUS et MAGNUS ad LABORUM" One one side it is embossed with " LAWRENCE / 1930 - 1973 / 43RD EDITION / LANC. OHIO ". Twelve or fewer of these bottles were made by the factory in Lancaster, Ohio, making it very rare. Anchor Hocking generally made bottles for employees if they had over 35 years of company service.

Very cool. Ball did something similar for their employees. ...Company/employee loyalty harder to find now a days.
