Hello everybody!
Recently found three small medicine bottles. Searched the Internet and was only able to find the NYC pharmacist Eschmann listed in a book of 1901 (the top left bottle) Any additional into on him or scarcity of the bottle would be helpful.

The other two didn't return any results.
Bottom left is
Pharmacist
J.I. Benedict
Cleveland, O.

The last one (on the right) is
E.H.F.
N.Y.
Do you have any idea what it was?

Thanks a lot,
Kostgar

Kostgar,

I enjoy searching the Federal Census' and found Augutus Reinhard Eschmann in NYC for the years 1900-1930 His occupation was listed as "Pharmacist/Medicine manufacturer". He was retired in 1930 He arrived in NYC from Bueckeburg, Germany April 1, 1878. He was 17 years old and his occupation then was listed as "Apothacary"
His birthdate was Feb. 2, 1861. He married a woman named Teresa and they had a child named Marion.
I couldn't find J.I. Benedict in Ohio anywhere in the census'
Great bottles by the way.

hello Kostgar,

I found a little on Benedict. He was listed in "The Druggist" attending a meeting on May 16 1884 and then listed as President of the Universalist Church of America in 1893. So if I had to guess I would put his bottle somewhere around c.1880-1900.
