2 Rusty Beer Cans.

Got a tip on a Beer Can Dump. Drove 200 miles there & 200 miles back. 400 miles & spent $80 in gas. Ends up I get there only to find a few rusty 1970's Pepsi Cans. Worth totally $$ ZERO, Nothing, zilch. Since I went all that way figured I'd stop by a old dump in the area I found like 20 years earlier. After Racking back some Pine Needles on Hillside near base of big Tree I find these 2 Gems. Whatcha think??? LEON.

Non Beer Can Collectors don't know good rust from bad rust. If you ask if 1930's opening instuctionals or low pro's or high pro cones they have no clue what your talking about. they just say they were old & rusty. 1970's not old. to some people it is, he had no clue how old they were but the aluminum tops should of gave it away.

Looks like they should clean up pretty well, especially that one on the left. Are they anything good? Hopefully they are to justify that much of a trip!

OK, I know everybody is holding onto the edge of their seat, biting their nails in anticipation, just waiting for the after cleaned results, I've held you in suspense long enough. Here they are.

These cans are what they call the Horoscope series. Many different colors. Has Horoscopes on the side of the cans. very collectible & desireable but not very rare. The green can maybe worth $10 while the blue can maybe $1.00. Far from my $80 to acquire them.

Surprising how well they cleaned up. I hate to think how many I left back in the dunes since they were so "rusty" . Citric acid is what gave you those results?

NO, no citrus acid.
