I FOUND THIS REALLY CRUDE BUBBLY BOTTLE YEARS AGO AND I JUST NOTICED IT HAS 3 SEAMS GOING VERTICALLY TO THE TOP NOT TOUCHING THOUGH..I NEVER NOTICED BEFORE CAN ANYONE TELL ME ANYTHING 3 PIECE MOLD BUT VERTICAL???IM STUMPED

no reason they couldnt make a mold with three side parts rather than two.
It just wasnt done often because in most cases it would be inefficient.
They probably had some reason for it though.

You see it in bottles with a lot of surface variation somtimes. I think it was easier to release the item from the mold.

INTERESTING...I WISH I KNEW WHAT WAS IN IT I found 2 of em traded one away..nostly 1890s stuff..i found a couple indian artefacts there too..right under the freeway ..theres a new housing tract there now and i got a nasty case of poison oak there lol..
