Well...
Ever had one of those days where you would welcome finding even a French's mustard? Put in ten hours with my brother yesterday searching for a mythical virgin dump in Chesterfield County yesterday, you all know the story: none-diggin dude shows you bag of good bottles wondering if they are worth anything - you are stupid enough to say yes before getting pinpoint on location.
Dude: "I was surveying this little creek and kept stepping on bottles, I picked one up and noticed it looked old, so I just kept picking up the cool blue ones." Shows me bag of decent bottles jars including a nice 1858 Marion Jar. "The bottles are falling outta da bank into the creek, and theres crock stuff too."
I ask if I can dig it with him, he says he won't be going back - but says its "easy" to find: two day and 14 hours later I have not even found a shard older than 1970 and have searched every creek along the road s he mentioned and then some. I think someone may be yankin' my chain....
