Would you rather dig 1800s dumps that are all extremely rocky? or Dig 1930s dumps that are all surface and easy digging?

1930s dump may have some depression glass. I like finding it, all I find is green and some pink. It'd depend on the size of the dump for me. I've dug plenty of small 19th century farm dumps which are full of rocks, broken glass, and absolutely nothing else. I'd take a large 1930s dump over one of those. Especially one full of sodas, milks, and enamel signs. But otherwise I'd take the rock dump, since I'm not interested in 90% of what you can find in a 30s dump.
I live off Georgian Bay. I have no choice BUT to dig rocky dumps.Would you rather dig 1800s dumps that are all extremely rocky? or Dig 1930s dumps that are all surface and easy digging?
