You don't see tooling marks on a milk every day!

There was another couple bottles there I debated buying... One was a quart sized ACL Lord Calvert soda bottle from Baltimore. It looked nice, but I know those ACL's are hit or miss.

They're both tooled tops. This one is slightly older than the other. Lauer Drug Co. later became United Chemists. Union Hill became Union City in 1925, so this is probably 1910-1920. The label says "LAUER DRUG CO./ UNION HILL BRANCH/ Bergenline Ave. Cor. Gardner St. UNION HILL, N.J.". The back is embossed with some measuring marks in CC's and ounces, as well as "LAUER DRUG CO.". I like it...

Nice milk, I dug a half pint with an 1889 patent date on the base. I'm gonna say they go from $10-20? Maybe a little more. If it had a dairy name on it that would bring some cash.

I dug an old half pint like that once that was embossed "stolen from" and then the dairy name. Was from NYC. Went to clean it at home and ooops dropped it on the cement :'( still upset about it to this day.

No, but thanks for asking. I'm sure I'll find a whole one eventually. I bet there's a lot of variations of George Greason bottles, as I've found quite a few whole, and even more broken. I bet your bottle is from this mold, except they added a logo to the slug plate, and used a crown top instead of a blob.

I notice you find Paterson's and stuff up there too, if you find any other Essex County bottles, let me know!
