I found these 2 bottles today. Thinking 1890’s beer.
The amber bottle has a C at the base.
The aqua bottle has FHGW on the base.
Anyone have any information on these marks, a date range, etc
Pics aren’t great, rainy and overcast here today
Thanks

According to Glass Bottle Marks, FHGW: Frederick Heitz Glass Works, St. Louis, Missouri (1882-1897). So you were right on the money with that 1890s guess. C also appears on a lot of hand blown bottles from the 1870s to 1890s I read on the site so you have a lot of good information going for you with these ones! Nice finds. Here's the website if you would like, too: https://www.glassbottlemarks.com/
