Had a nice adventure today in a new location. Found several early 20th century milk bottles, a couple 1890's blob beers, a gallon whiskey jug, and a couple sodas.

History is all around us. Some places its just easier to see. Not easy in your area? Hit the library and look at some old maps.:)

Western WA is VERY young compared to much of our once great nation.

The people and speed of development certainly don't help either..

Can confirm, almost all my hunting locations were found this way. Best thing to do is find archival maps and compare them to modern maps of the same area. If the old maps show active habitation and the new maps show the remains of those habitations on public land, chances are you can find alot of artifacts that once belonged to the people that once lived there.
