I have decided to accept offers on this cobalt U.S.A. hospital bottle. It is one of the larger oval molds at almost 7" tall and it is the scarcer wide mouth variety. It does have some haze and has a light coat of oil in the pictures but other than a scratch, that would polish out with a tumble below the embossing there is no damage. It is difficult to price as none similar have sold in a long time and after talking to the a couple authorities on these, it appears to be much rarer than most, even the cobalt quarts.I apologize for the rough pictures, please contact me if interested.Thank you

I'll put 20 - shipped -on it. I don't know much about this bottle/type of bottles, but I do like the color and shape.

No offense David, but I think a more serious offer would be around $2,000+ for this one, and even that might be low. Your offer is more of a yard sale price. It's not even my bottle, and I was upset to see such a lowball offer.

No offense here, I don't believe he was being insulting just not familiar. Thanks for the posts. Offers by Pm would be appreciated.

The guy is obvioulsy new to the bottle world. Cut the guy some slack. I will go $50 for an opening bid. [8D]

I see a ruff beat up chipped lip one going for 455.00 or so with a couple of hours to go on ebay. It does have a little digging story behind it which may or may not help it some. Very nice bottle there Doug. Good luck on your sale.

Thanks Bill, I seen that one. It is a much smaller bottle, the small ones typically have a wide mouth. This size normally a more conventional medicine type narrow mouth.

I figured I was low on the offer, but didn't know how low.

I'm a newbie and just liked the color and shape.

Good luck with the auction
