In the woods behind my neighbors house there is a trash dump, when we first moved here in 1975 the woods were littered with bottles but thanks to the Red Ryder BB Guns my brother and i got for Christmas no visible bottle survived(I am kicking myself as I type this) I have found several bottles just under the surface all have been screw tops, I use a four pronged claw type digger I have not found any thing over a few inches deep, then its just dirt, do you think it would be a waste of time to dig deeper.
Thanks Preditor[8D]

hey preditor sounds like it could be a shallow newer dump, try diging a test hole see how deep you can dig, may be older stuff below, also look for older glass on the surface cork tops ect hope this helped mike

Hi ,
I agree with Mike ..... sounds like a newer surface dump. But , you can do as Mike said and dig a few test holes .... or get out the trusty probe and do a little probing maybe.
Good luck ! Brian
