That is crazy to find that in a creek. I've found some cool old boards, but that is something else. Any ID on the wood type to not decay and remain that stable?

Wow that's quite something! I wonder how it ended up in a creek. Does he have any idea of its age? I'm getting a 1930s or 40s feel from it, but I'm definitely no expert.

Paint is holding up well, any idea how long it was in the creek for?

Amazing find. Hard to believe that the doors and frame were all together.

He had no info on it besides how hard it has to get out of creek by himself. I think it said Monastery across the top.took two of us to lift door out of frame.he didn't have hinges on it yet.couldnt have sat in creek to long hence condition.
