Just adopted today, needs washed but it has a long crack up the left side.. was wondering if it's an everyday amber NY strapside or worth cleaning up?

B. COURTNEY - 219-8th AVE - N. Y. ..half pint

Well Cyberdigger, I can say that I have not seen it before, but please take that with a grain of salt. There are ALOT of straps from NYC, at least 1,000, likely more.
IF it was not cracked, cleaned up between 60 and 90 dollars is the range, with the crack.......
Bernard Courtney-listed as both wines and liquors, and saloons, as such, likely he ran a saloon/bar.
At least 1902 at the 8th Ave. address, likely earlier, as 02 is my first directory. This address is listed until at least 1906 (I have a gap in my directories from 06 to 15).
By 1915 he is at 446 6th Ave.
Hope this helps.
