I've found a couple of those over the years , typical amber orange crush bottle used in the 40's and 50's era , major brand so they were sold all over the place and so there bottles can appear just about anywhere .

I found one in our local river last summer

The bottle itself is standard, amber 7oz. The writing on the front ACL is unique - rather than the usual 'Company Bottle.' The content is always written on the back above a standard 'This Special Bottle.....' As stated in my book, this wording may have been the 'whim' of a local bottler as most that I have seen come from Leaksville, N.C.

by unique writing on the front ACL, I meant 'PATENTED'.... sorry
