Anchor Glass Company Jar Found in South Jersey

I found this half buried in a generally inaccessible area of a lake (Algonkin Lake) that I was fishing in South Jersey. I learned quite a bit about Anchor Glass while trying to pinpoint the year of this jar but I am still confused. Can anyone provide any expertise?

PS: It feels a little flimsy to be antique but thought I'd check. But what made me more curious was that lake sits on an old camp ground from the 30s.

Not 100 percent but looks like an applesauce jar to me. I remember this style from the 1970s and maybe later. Could be from the 60's but I was only 7 or 8 at the time by the later part of the decade.

I'm 53 and I can see that being an applesauce jar (or something) back in the day. What kind of lid goes on that, some kind of press on?

Yeah. I seem to recall my mom pushing down on it and a botton popped in the middle to release the vacuum seal. Again, I was young but it may have been Motts brand. I just looked on Ebay and saw one like it that says it's 1950s. At least the Ebay one is. It's in past sold items. It had a label. Search completed for Mott's Applesauce glass jar bottle.
