This time it’s a deep green, almost black, and about 12” tall. I’m thinking wine? Maybe English ale? Any ideas what this is?

Yes, it was probably an English ale and repurposed in the U.S. like this 1875 labeled example. Yours looks to be a bit newer. 1890s perhaps? Very nice three-piece mould find!

Everything I have been able to find out about it points to a English ale and right around the 1890 timeframe as well. Thank you very much for confirming my suspicions!
