This is my first significant post in a while, and also my first significant bottle purchase in a while. I finally got all of my house remodeling/restoration done. Meanwhile, the house I wanted to buy is now off the market [] So, I guess I'll enjoy the fruits of my labor (and $$$) for a while with this house until something else I like comes up. Maybe I'll actually even get time one of these days to DIG SOME FREAKING BOTTLES now, too.

Here is a really sweet Lewistown Coke bottle that I scored on FeePay. I'm not one to get excited about a 1941 D-Patent Coke, even a Lewistown one, but this one is special. I've always liked these "midnight shift" Cokes in the wacky lime green, so this one from Lewistown was too much to resist. Sorry about the condensation in the pic, I gave it a quick rinse. You can see the color contrast next to a normal Lewistown Coke.

I've never seen or heard of another Lewistown Coke in this color. I honestly had planned to have to fork out more than I did for this one, but a pleasant surprise is always nice. Whether this bottle was created accidentally or intentionally, I thank the 1941 glass worker dudes for making this misfit. ~Jim

I've never seen many of them either, Jim. Most of the ones I have seen were the later ACL Cokes from the 60s. If I ever encounter one from Paterson, I'll grab it for you. ~Jim

Thanks, Connor. It's good to have things somewhat back to normal. I'm still busy, but only with maybe 10 things instead of 100 [8D]

I haven't tried the UV light on it, but now I'm curious. It's probably just some 7-Up or Vess Dry green mixed into the batch, so I doubt it will glow. I'm going to find out, though. ~Jim

Nice coke, I'm with Connor, it looks like Uranium Glass to me. Very cool bottle.

I've probably seen hundreds of Cokes over the past 20 years but never one in this color.
