So this is one of the items from the house I've been posting about. It to me looks like a wine/spirit bottle but I can't find anything about it online. The bottle is an odd shape and not amber but not yellow either. It does not sit flat. Image is of Monticello, below that the text reads " Monticello Home Of Thomas Jefferson" in the bottom left and right corners "1972". Image is repeated on the other side exact. Bottom of the bottle has 5 lines of text
1. Second Addition
2. Famous American Homes Series
3. Made Exclusively For
4. Chateau, Inc In
5. Taiwan
I'm trying to find out what it was, and where it comes from. There are no other markings or stamps anywhere else that I can see.

Cool. The embossing pretty much tells the story. Looks like a commemorative series of bottles made to somewhat mimic early flasks. Not a reproduction though, since there was never a bottle like that made in earlier times. Really not an adaptation or fantasy piece either. Just is what it is.

Series of bottles like this have been produced for various places and events for years. I never heard of 'Chateau', but I have never paid much attention to this type of promotion. It might have value if you could find someone who was interested, but that is unlikely.

Lol thank you. I have learned that if I need help, I have to help those helping me with clear information and pictures.

As far as value goes with what it is, I have a good rule of stick $10 and see what happens... I'm happy as long as it goes to someone who will enjoy it. If it doesn't sell, I'll find a shelf somewhere for it to live.
