Okay I know this is a ball jar but I've never seen one quite like it. Is it old? And is it worth anything?

Ball made bottles and jars for many products in the 30's. Ball is mostly known for canning jars. I would guess that this was from the 30's. what is the entire lettering that begins with " Do not fill above this line......." ?

Ball made many different types of jars and bottles. I've seen condiment bottles and utility jars (like yours) in many different sites. Ball canning jars in colors other than aqua (except the #13 embossed on the base) and clear are the most common. However, if you dig up a Ball jar in any other color or it is monogrammed, those are the Balls you want.

Based on the base and the logo, it was made after 1960. It is a product jar and not a home canning jar, however home canners may have used it after the original product was gone.

wan you see those little bumps on a jar or bottle it was made after 1940. they were made that way so the bottom can come off the mold quicker.
