Any help dating this Sanford Ink !

Hi. Found this above ground behind an old home/ravine today. Thought dating it would help me decide to dig. My two guides do not show a rounded on three sides flat on the fourth like this. It reads Sanfords ...3...298 on the bottom and the word SECOND is embossed on the shoulders. Any ideas ?? Seam runs to lip but not over it. -Dave

Not sure what it was, but of good age to continue digging. I would date it late 1800' s. It looks to be blown and with a tooled top.
