It looks like three different pieces with an applied top. I was thinking mid 1800s.

Dunno for sure. The squared lip finish is not one of the finishes on ale bottles from the steamship BERTRAND, which sank in the Missouri River in 1865. It is close to a stout bottle (#25, page 8) in BOTTLES ON THE WESTERN FRONTIER by Rex L. Wilson. That bottle is from Fort Union and dates to 1865 to 1890.

I think your bottle is a British import dating to the 1870s or 1880s.

It looks like to me it's a turn mode time. Around 1870 I like it's a nice-looking bottle

It does look like a three piece mold turn mold beer bottle I got a nice looking beer bottle but look similar to that but it's a cobalt blue

I can clearly see the seams from the mold. The ocean tumbling didn't erase it all. Am I correct in saying, in general the older the 3 piece mold the lower the seam on the bottle is? I believe I heard this before. I was wondering if it was true.
