I bought what I believe to be a Nesbitt's Orange Juice bottle from an antique store today. It had been filled with styrofoam and had a Peplau's Dairy cap from New Britain, CT. On the base, it has the design patent 98373, which Nesbitt Fruit Products Inc filed in 1935. I bought the bottle for $7. Does anyone know what it might be worth?

Roy,
There was one (only) on Worthpoint, a half pint, just like in the patent drawing, except in had black name paint instead of embossment (at the same angle). It sold online in 9/'21 for $10. plus S.+H. and tax. I think it was undervalued. I've never seen one around here either. Probably too much competition from the do-it-yourself Depression era hand smash glass juicers. ..Btw, if you see any Nesbitt metal signage--grab it. Its 3 digits easy.

Thanks, Len! I actually dug a Nesbitt's door push this past summer in a 1960s dump. The dump was exposed when a large path connecting a bike path to a restaurant was constructed. I haven't been back in a while, so the dump could be completely destroyed by now.

Hi Hunter!

I just looked at Worthpoint on your door push. Basically good news. Your 1950s edition, as is, I'd put in the $40- $75. range. Normally it had 3 lines of straight wire connected by a scroll on each side. I saw several examples. The better ones went to $300. Might be worth restoring. Congrats.:)
P.S.- Sorry if I attributed you original post to Roy. It was early am...
