I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on a stoneware ink I have .
I have included a pic. It has N.S. INK CO. on it and it has what looks to me to be TAYLOR on the bottom .
Sorry for the poor pics . Any help on info would be appreciated. Thanks Brian

It is from my late Grandfathers collection. I can't find any info on it . But , I don't have much info on inks .
I have wondered about it for several years now . American ? English ?
My Grandfather put a sticker on the bottom that says no listing.

I don't recognize "N.S. Ink Co". It has an old look about it, like maybe 1850s or so. Form could be English or American, companies on both sides of the pond used the form. I'm guessing English but it's purely a guess on gut feeling.

Google Ed and Lucy Faulkner. Then email them. They just did an ink book and are about as up on who sold what in ink bottles as any collector out there.

Yes , English was my gut feeling also . Especially if that says Taylor on the bottom.
I don't know why I didn't think about emailing Ed & Lucy about it.
Thanks for the replies everybody !
I just sent the Faulkners an email.
