Sorry I don't have better pictures. Don't know if it's pontiled. Could be a modern piece, but I have a hunch that it's old.

I would have said that is a ribbed decanter of some sort. The lip puts decent age on it, maybe pre-civil war. You'd want to see the bottom of it for a pontil.

A good clear shot of the bottom would help. Reminds me of early Pittsburgh glass.

Definitely a decanter. Could even be cut glass. But the photos are too out of focus to tell.
It kind of looks like its paneled rather than ribbed. A couple of better photos would help.
And I would expect to see a polished pontil mark on the base.

Wound up getting this bottle + an early open pontiled chestnut bottle (!!!) so I should have many more pictures when I pick them up Wednesday. Hoping this has a nice open pontil. Im pumped. Stay tuned
