It looks like a Black glass Stubby beer/ale . It has DEACON SCOTLAND YARD embossed on the base. I presume it is English in origin ?

Hi BRIAN S. Well it is certainly an English Black Glass beer or ale bottle. It looks like a keeper. I am surprised that here hasn't been more replies with help. I think it's a 3 piece mold... I like the color though. Is it some kind of dark pinkish amethyst? Plum maybe?

It is Olive green/ black glass. And yes it is a 3 piece mold.
I have never seen another with this base embossing.
