Anyone know what this is?

It is early 1800's blown glass, no mold seams and it doesn't stand up on it's own as pictured; the bottom is round.

I neglected to provide you with dimentions, hence the response?

It is approx. 3" in diameter and the neck, if you please, is also about 3" long.

Possibly one of those alcohol burners that sit in a meatal cup? I've seen those in cobalt and amber / brown glass. Had a cotton wick in the mouth.

Not even close and NOT.! Perhaps if you had a crystal ball that you could gaze into, it would help...LOL

Hmmm, I was told it was a gazing ball as pictured with the others below but I like your answer the better. You get a gold star, go to the head of the class!
